Double bass
Murelli showed his passion for music very early studying organ at the Sacred Music School in Como. Admitted to the Conservatory of his city, he studied double bass with Eustasio Cosmo, graduating in 1989. Murelli studied under the guidance of Franco Franco Petracchi at the "W. Stauffer" Academy in Cremona and at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, where he was awarded a Diploma of Merit; he was additionally awarded the highest marks of the Academic Diploma at the "L. Perosi" Academy in Biella, under the guidance of M ° G. Ettorre.
He has performed with the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of La Scala, and was Principal Bassist at the Orchestra "Pomeriggi Musicali" in Milan; Murelli had the honor to work with international artists such as C. Abbado, D. Barenboim, S. Bychkov, A. Ceccato, R. Chailly, MW Chung, C. Davis, G. Dudamel, R. Frubek de Burgos, D Gatti, G. Gavazzeni, V. Gergiev, CM Giulini, D. Harding, L. Maazel, R. Muti, G.
